Snow in the Charente Chenon January 2009
Ken Tickle has sent us some pictures from where
he lives in the Charente (19-11-08).
The
view from our 'East' bedroom window of a lovely old Spanish-styled church at
Chenon.
The nearby Chateau of Verteuil. Built for and since
inhabited by the family Le Rochefoucauld. It is in fact on course to be
opened to the public for the first time in it's 500 year history!
