If you, or any of you, enjoy "Couscous," I suggest trying it at the Bar-Tabac-Resto in St. Bonnet de Bellac. Couscous is served every Thursday, all day from twelve noon 'til late, and every Friday, up to 15H00. You can just pop in or if you have a group, it is suggested you book ahead of time at 05 55 60 09 47. The owners are great, helpful, friendly and seriously committed to hard work and punctuality. Also, from Monday to Friday, breakfast starts being served at 05H00! Yes, I did say 5 o'clock in the morning -that is where all of the "routiers," truck drivers get their breakfast before they head the road and the place is always packed! Sorry to say that they are closed on weekends. Bon apetit! We have a brand new custom built mobile fish and chip shop, bursting with fabulous fresh produce, sourced from local suppliers. Why not treat yourself to the sorely missed Great British dish of Fish 'n' Chips here in France!
If you don't want to go dashing home with your tasty take-away, that's fine, as at some of our venues we've hooked up with our friends who own local bars. Here you are able to settle down at one of their tables, wash down your Fish 'n' Chips with a refreshing glass/bottle of beer or wine, or whatever else they have to offer. Alternatively you can have a chat over the counter with us, whilst your food is cooked to order, and enjoy a glass of wine or beer!
We also cater for private parties and events. Just let us know what's going on and we'll see if we can accommodate you.
