Le Moulin du Lary is set in its own 12 acre grounds, secluded from other properties yet situated close to all necessary amenities, shops, banks, bakeries, supermarkets.  

The Farm House - five bedroomed - providing comfortable accommodation with gas central heating.

Salon: This is a large, welcoming room (7m.80 by 9m.10) with three French windows, one to the side, facing east, one facing onto the front garden, and one to the rear garden. The front and rear French windows each lead onto a covered, tiled patio. In the room, which has a large open fireplace, there are 2 sofas (one of which is a sofa bed), and 6 arm chairs. There is also a TV (with access to BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4, ITV3 and many free to view channels) and a Video/DVD.

Small Salon: again off the main salon, this is a 4.75m by 4.90m room for relaxation, away from the television, with access to the hall as well as a door opening onto the front garden.

A spiral staircase leads from the salon to the first floor.

Kitchen: This is off the Salon and is 4.3m by 3.3 m. Apart from a sink; this also contains a gas hob, an electric oven, microwave cooker, dishwasher and fridge.

Utility Room: Off the kitchen is a small utility room which contains a washing machine, a freezer and is also the home of the water softener.

Toilet: There is a toilet (one of three in the house) on the ground floor, by another outside door which leads to the garden on the Western side of the house.

Hall: This is a passage from the kitchen end of the house to the original front door. In the hall there is also a staircase to the first floor.

Dining Room: Again, off the salon, this is 4.75m by 4.90 m and contains the dining table and chairs, sufficient for 12 people to sit down to a meal.

Bedroom One: This is a double bedded room; 3.9m by 3.45 m. This room overlooks the garden and the side. The room has fitted cupboards.

Shower Room: This is 3.5m by 2.45 m and contains a shower and a basin.

Bedroom Three: This is a double bedded room, 4.05m by 3.45m. This room faces the front of the house and has French windows to its own veranda. This also contains fitted cupboards.

Toilet: There is a separate toilet between the shower room and Bedroom 4.

Bedroom Four: This room is 4.3m by 5m. This is the room which provides access to the bathroom and bedroom five. (Although access to the bathroom and bedroom five is also available up the stairs in the hall) This room faces the front, and has a double bed and a wardrobe.

Bathroom: This is a large bathroom (3.9m by 3m) with a full size bath, a shower, a basin and a toilet.

Millers Cottage - two bedroomed accommodation with log burner and electric radiators.

The Kitchen Diner (5m, 40 x 5m.60) has a red tiled floor and is accessed from the front garden. The kitchen contains a 4 ring gas hob, electrical oven, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. There is also a dining table and 6 chairs plus sideboard. This room also contains a wood burner in case of a chilly evening.

This room leads off on to the salon (6m, 00 x 5m, 10) (also with a door opening to the front garden) with a red tiled floor and contains a television (including BBC 1,2,3,4 and ITV 1, 2, 3) with video/DVD. The room also has a sofa bed and two arm chairs.

The Kitchen/Diner leads to a passage way from which access is gained to the ground floor bedroom, the utility room, the shower room and the w.c.

The Utility Room contains the washing machine, freezer and the hot water heater.

The Shower room (2m, 60 x 2m, 10) contains basin and shower.

The downstairs bedroom, facing the back garden, (6m, 80 x 4m, 70) has basin and bidet with double bed and wardrobes. There is also a French window out to the back garden.

From the Kitchen /diner are the stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom (4m, 80 x 5m, 20) which has windows to the front garden. This bedroom contains two single beds and wardrobes.

The two properties share a 12m x 6m solar heated salt swimming pool.

The Dordogne is 40 minutes to the east and the coast a couple of hours to the west. Cercoux (the nearest village – 5 minutes) has bakeries (one of which delivers to the Moulin) and one which makes “take away” pizzas, a general store, two garages and a bar/cafe/restaurant “La Forestièrre”.

Montguyon (15 minutes), has an Intermarche and a vegetable market on Wednesdays. Guitres, (20 minutes), Coutras (30 minutes) (on the River Dronne) is a major town with a Leclerc and an Intermarche. Libourne, (30 minutes) Bordeaux, (45 minutes) St. Emilion (30 minutes) and Angouleme (45 minutes) are all within a reasonable distance. Cognac is only an hour away.

La Grange - Sleeps four people - The accommodation comprises two double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite), and a large open plan kitchen/living area covering the entire ground floor of the property.

La Ferme - Sleeps up to six people - offers very spacious and comfortable accommodation comprising three bedrooms, a large kitchen/dining room with a separate, well-furnished lounge.

Le Gîte du Portail - Sleeps four people - This is a delightful and spacious, two bedroom stone gîte in an enclosed courtyard.

Le Gîte du Puits - Sleeps up to four people (sofa-bed) This Charentaise stone building has been beautifully renovated with great care and attention, whilst retaining all its atmosphere and charm.

All the accommodation is conveniently arranged on the ground floor.

L'Ecurie - Sleeps six people - Everything is conveniently arranged on the ground floor. The property has two double bedrooms, plus a third smaller bedroom.

There is plenty of living space, plus an excellent verandah for al-fresco dining which looks out onto a lawned garden.

Each gîte has a gas barbeque, an outside table, chairs and a parasol for shade. There is also a lovely summer kitchen area with more tables, chairs and a traditional barbeque made from the old bread oven.

Every gîte has UK satellite TV but we doubt if you will waste much time watching it, as there is so much to do. A library of DVDs, videos and books is also available for guests.

Le Manoir La Foye is within easy reach of the A10 autoroute (J33 & 34) giving full access to the Channel ports. St Malo is only just over 4 hours drive.

We are only 15 minutes from the town of Aulnay and 10 minutes drive to the small town of Néré.

The gite is small but very pretty, has central heating, and is very well equipped.

There is one main double bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

Cot available if required.

The lounge area can have an additional single bed and also a single camp bed, if needed.

The large, secluded garden has parking, bar-b-q, patio area, and use of washing machine, which is in an outside building.

The little hamlet of La Féolle is surrounded by countryside and in the commune of Blanzay, in the South Vienne region of France.

Transport is advisable due to the rural location of the gite  and to be able to see the sites, especially the wonderful Chateaux

Poitiers is 45 minutes drive north, and Limoges airport is about 1 hour and 15 minutes drive south-east. The market town of Civray is only 10 mins. away, and the ‘Valley des Singes’ in Romagne, (a wild monkey park), is also only 10 minutes away. The historic town of Charroux is only 15 minutes away, where there is an 11^th. Century abbey.

Futurescope is near to Poitiers. These are just a few of the attractions, as well as good restaurants, and supermarkets etc, not to mention a good bottle of red wine only costing the equivalent of 85p!

We are situated near to Poitiers, Limoges, La Rochelle, and Bordeaux airports, and Ryanair and BMIbaby etc., do budget flights from East Midlands, London Stansted, and Birmingham airports.

The price for a holiday let is 250€ per week and includes a welcome pack, sheets, and towels. A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking as we do get very busy in the summer.
